    The Thermo Scientific ARL easySpark 1160 full spectrum direct reading spark spectrometer can quickly analyze solid metal samples. It can accurately and reliably analyze both trace elements and high concentration elements. Thermo Fisher Scientific has accumulated years of experience in the industry and designed this new, cost-effective full spectrum direct reading spark spectrometer for the smelting industry and laboratories with a large demand for metal analysis.     The patented digital light source (patent number: PCT/EP2009/066420) brings superior analytical performance. Dual current control of plasma spark discharge, efficient, flexible, and reproducible. The spark discharge time is accurate to 1 µ S, the peak current can reach 200A, and the single spark time can reach 1200 µ S, which can meet the excitation requirements of different substrates, samples, and analytical elements. Efficient excitation while reducing the heating effect of the spark table, improving accuracy and long-term stability.

    Black Technology 3

    The ARL 1160 uses a second-generation dual grating system to replace the traditional Paschen Runge structure concave grating. Flat field grating imaging, with the spectrum as a whole and no gaps between different wavelengths, makes it easier to debug and calibrate the instrument. ARL easySpark provides full spectrum coverage to meet customers' needs for element detection.

    Thermo Fisher Scientific has tailored a new CCD detector for the ARL 1160. An ARL1160 CCD detector has three parallel pixel lines, each 61mm long, with 8714 effective pixels and a pixel density of 140 pixels/mm, resulting in a total of 26000 pixels. The conventional CCD detector has only one pixel line, around 2000 effective pixels, and a pixel density of 70 pixels/mm. It can be said that the performance of the new ARL 1160 CCD detector is approximately equal to that of 13 conventional CCD detectors. The cooling function of the CCD detector stabilizes the operating temperature at 9.6 ℃, with low dark current, good detection limit, and high stability.

    The instrument lens is made of high transmittance material with full wavelength. During use, the lens is heated to reduce the possibility of pollutants depositing on the lens, slow down the rate of light intensity decrease, improve efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the long-term stability of the instrument.

    Argon gas management module, intelligent and advanced gas path monitoring. Before excitation, the monitoring system ensures that the sample holder, sample, and spark table form a circuit, ensuring that the spark chamber is sealed and leak free, and ensuring that the surface flatness of the sample meets the requirements. After excitation, pulsed argon gas is blown to improve dust removal efficiency and enhance the short-term and long-term stability of the instrument.
